What’s Hot – Irons

26 June 2012

Here we are again… At Caddyshack Rentals we’ve been going through this years new golf clubs. To help you decide what to add you to your bag we’ve already been through the top putters, drivers and fairway woods… today it’s the turn of the irons!

Taylormade R11 set – A weight port is used to achieve precise swingweights and CG locations in each iron. The set features compact short irons and long irons with wider soles.

Cleveland 588 CB set – The irons are forged from 1025 carbon steel using a process that requires about 50% less hand polishing, increasing consistency from club to club. The grooves feature the same laser-milled technology as the company’s wedges to provide surface roughness on the face and preserve the edges of the grooves for spin.

Mizuno JPX-800 HD – Mizuno took some of its hallmark technologies (a “hot metal” face for optimal ball speed and “harmonic impact technology” for sound and feel) and coupled them with an extra-wide sole and a high MOI (moments of inertia).

What are you waiting for? We’ve done our bit; all you’ve got to do is hit the shops!
